We are looking for enthusiastic Cloud Hosting Service Consultant for our client. 

The Hosting Service Consultant will be a member of the Global Hosting Services (GHS) Service Management team and comes to the organization having experience in cloud technology stack especially in Service delivery, provisioning, integration area with a background in IT infrastructure services. The role holder will be responsible for managing GHS Customer requests and providing consultations including: 

  • Demand Management: Working directly with customer service teams, fully understand, document and route service requests to the appropriate GHS Teams
  • Explain GHS Service Catalog to cloud customers, walkthrough the available service offerings and provide consultations for selecting appropriate services
  • Coach cloud customers how to consume GHS services
  • Serve as an escalation point for efforts that are experiencing problems
  • Be a trusted partner for territories, acting as a bridge between global and local teams

The Global Hosting Service provides and operates highly available 24/7 servers, Iaas and PaaS across multiple global on-premise hosting centers and Public Cloud Service Providers. 


 Job Requirements and Preferences 


Basic Qualifications :

Minimum Degree Required:

High School Diploma

 

Minimum Years of Experience:

5 years in IT infrastructure services, preferably cloud hosting services - deploying and managing IaaS and PaaS services.   


Preferred Qualifications: 

Degree Preferred:

Bachelor Degree 

Preferred Fields of Study:

Information Technology, Computer Systems, Management Information Systems 

Certification(s) Preferred:

ITIL certification, Azure Fundamentals (AZ 103) a must, GCP/AWS certifications a plus.

Project Management Professional (PMP) 


Preferred Knowledge/Skills 

 

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as hosting expert, preferably for an international firm or organization, including the following areas: 

  • Demonstrated understanding/commitment to ITIL processes and standards.
  • General knowledge and experience in Information Security. Knowledge of cloud fundamentals, architectural principles, concepts.
  • Good knowledge to at least one of major Cloud Service provider catalogs, use case and benefits of those features
  • At least 5+ years of professional experience working with IaaS and PaaS features, experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure/AWS/Google) is a big plus
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience on cloud resource deployments via  CI/CD, Azure DevOps, can guide developers to build cloud environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical ability, exercising professional skepticism, strong judgment and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with Leadership and team members.
  • Ability to identify and communicate complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical business representatives.
  • Ability to take abstract ideas from inception to completion
  • Agile, open-minded, ready to bring and implement new ideas
  • Ability to work in a remote, geographically dispersed environment
  • Efficient in self-management and independent task management
  • Fluent in communications - oral and written in English

 

Responsibilities:

  • Explain GHS Service Catalog to cloud customers, walkthrough the available service offerings and provide consultations for selecting appropriate services

  • Be a trusted partner for territories, acting as a bridge between global and local teams
